RESERVATIONS

Upon making a booking, we require a deposit equivalent to one night of your stay to secure

your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable, unless we can re-let the complete booking. If

you need to cancel or change the details of your booking, please contact us immediately. For

cancellations requested up to 4 weeks prior to your booking we will retain the deposit, but it

can be used against a future booking taken within 12 months of the cancellation. For

cancellations made after this time, or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling, you

will be liable for the total amount.

 

If you or any member of your party has any special access requirements or dietary needs,

please let us know. A copy of our ‘access statement’ is available upon request or can be

viewed on our web site.

 

Unfortunately, due to the age and lay out of Burnville House, it is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Dogs may stay in the house by prior arrangement. No dogs except assistance dogs are

allowed in the dining room. Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture and must not be left

unattended in bedrooms. Please bring basket, cage or blankets for your dog/s.

 

ARRIVAL

Normal arrival time is from 3pm. If you are delayed in arriving or expect to arrive after this time,

please let us know, it is helpful if you can contact us a couple of days in advance to let us

know an estimated arrival time.

Cars are parked entirely at the owners’ risk.  Any contents left in your car are also entirely at

your own risk.

 

 

DURING YOUR STAY

Our aim is to offer our guests a relaxing and peaceful stay we kindly ask all guests to respect

other guests’ quiet enjoyment and relaxation.

 

We carry out our housekeeping between 11am and 2pm each day and will require access to

your room during this time. If you are not planning on being out during these hours, please let

us know.

 

Accidents happen - Please let us know as soon as they occur especially if you spill something,

these can normally be easily dealt with if immediate action is taken. Any significant breakage

or damage may result in a charge for replacement or repair.

 

 

We appreciate that you may have muddy shoes/boots and wet clothing please leave it all in

the porch, we have a large drying room where we can dry most things overnight.

 

Smoking is not allowed at Burnville House.

 

DEPARTURE

On the day of departure, we kindly request that you vacate your room by 10.30am unless prior

arrangements have been made, this allows us time to prepare the room for our next guests.

 

The balance for your stay is payable on departure by cash, cheque or Bacs. Invoices are

available on request.

 

By booking and staying with us, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and these

form a contract between us.

Some of the data gathered when making a booking may be held on computer. I would like to

hold this data after your visit to be able to inform you of future offers. If you would prefer us not

to hold this information, please let me know.
